Woof n Wags Team

Meet our Amazing
Woof n Wags Team

Sarah

Daycare Manager

My name is Sarah and I am an experienced and qualified doggie daycare manager with a successful history in dog supervision and handling, training, and managing other doggie daycares in New Zealand. I approach all interactions with our doggos in a responsible, confident, and caring manner, meaning our fur-friends respond well because they feel respected and cared for.  With a combined background in animal care services (and previously as a chef), I pride myself in demonstrating the importance of applying responsibility, confidence and care when overseeing your doggie’s daycare experience.

Cathy

Daycare Assistant and Dog Trainer

Hi, my name is Cathy and my background has seen me work in the animal industry for over 13 years. In this time I have worked at a large dog boarding facility, ran my own mobile hydrobath business and, with the desire to understand dogs more, I became a professional dog trainer, running a variety of different classes for all ages. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, dancing and taking my dog Xena on walks.

Kaitlyn

Daycare Assistant and Dog Trainer

Hi there! I’m Kaitlyn, and my journey into the world of professional animal care began during my teenage years when I delved into earning a Cert III in Dog Training and Behaviour. With a heart full of love for dogs and all animals, I’ve spent the last 7 years immersing myself in various roles within the animal industry. Beyond work, you’ll often find me spending time with my partner and his cat, Jinx, or out on exciting adventures with my beloved doggo, Jed, a 10-year-old American Bulldog who you may sometimes see featured on the WnW parents page.

Maddi

Daycare Assistant and Groomer

Hi! My name is Maddi and I have been working in the animal industry since 2018. With my certificates in animal studies and ongoing grooming, I have had amazing opportunities to seek out many different paths in the animal industry over the years, but my personal favourite is doggy daycare! Why I love it so much is because I get to meet so many different personalities and characters within those big or small pups, as well as getting to know the owners of each dog. Working with animals brings me so much happiness and joy. In my own time I love to go out on adventures and explore new places, including camping, fishing, 4WD or just down at the beach.

Tia

Daycare Assistant

Hi, my name is Tia and I am currently at TAFE studying Animal Management. Working with dogs is my life long dream which is why I love working at Woof n Wags and spending time with the dogs, playing with them and giving them joy and happiness.  I have two papillons of my own who I adore, and also love being with them in my spare time. When I am not at work with your doggies I play netball, go camping and enjoy the beach with my friends.

Jake

Daycare Assistant

Hi! My name is Jake and I love animals. I used to volunteer at the RSPCA and AWL, and now I’m fortunate enough to work at Woof n Wags with all my doggie friends. My favourite thing about dogs would be how loving and affectionate they are. Sometimes at work I’ll sit on the couch and a furry friend will come snuggle up close to me. I love patting, playing with and spending time with all dogs, including my own white German Shepherd, Hudson.

Helana and James

Owners

Hi, we are Helana and James and have always had a love of dogs and a deep desire to enrich their lives by treating every dog as if they were our own. In 2023, we acquired Woof n Wags Doggie Daycare from founders Tiff and Patrice as a natural extension of our commitment to provide happiness to our fur-friends and their owners.

Taking an active role in the Woof n Wags operations, we are proud to offer an unrivalled experience of fun, stimulation and safety for your doggies. Our aim is to provide dog owners with peace of mind to go about their day knowing their dog is having fun with other fur-friends in a genuinely caring and safe environment.

As owners and managers of other social and human service operations, our genuine dedication to ensuring the wellbeing of our fur-friends, their owners, and our team, continues to be our key priority.

Patrice and Tiff

Consultant Veterinary Nurses

With a combined experience of over 50 years in the veterinary industry, Patrice and Tiff continue to be part of the Woof n Wags team in the capacity of consultant veterinary nurses.  This allows Patrice and Tiff to continue to provide critical care and vet nursing expertise to the Woof n Wags family as needed, ensuring the health and wellbeing of all our doggo friends and offering additional peace of mind for their owners.
